Tour Plan :

01
Day 1: Tangier – Tetouan – Chefchaouen

Your journey begins in the vibrant coastal city of Tangier. From here, travel along the scenic Rif Mountains to Tetouan, known for its strong Andalusian influence and whitewashed medina. Enjoy a leisurely walk before continuing towards Chefchaouen. Nestled in the mountains, this “Blue Pearl” of Morocco welcomes you with its calming blue hues, narrow cobbled streets, and warm local charm. Upon arrival, settle into a charming riad and explore at your own pace—perhaps stroll through Plaza Uta el-Hammam, visit the Kasbah, or enjoy panoramic views from the Spanish Mosque. Dinner is often a peaceful affair here, with rooftop terraces offering views over the medina. Chefchaouen’s peaceful atmosphere and artistic flair make for a memorable first night.

02
Day 2: Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Meknes – Fes

After breakfast, drive through fertile landscapes towards Volubilis, the ancient Roman city that still whispers stories through its well-preserved mosaics and columns. Take your time exploring this UNESCO-listed archaeological site before continuing to nearby Meknes, one of Morocco’s Imperial Cities. Once the capital under Sultan Moulay Ismail, Meknes offers grand gates and royal stables that hint at its historic might. Wander the medina and enjoy a relaxed lunch before heading to Fes, the cultural and spiritual heart of Morocco. On arrival, check into a traditional riad in the medina. In the evening, perhaps enjoy a first taste of Fassi cuisine—rich in spices, almonds, and saffron. Rest up before tomorrow’s immersive exploration.

03
Day 3: Full Day Exploring Fes with Local Guide

Today is devoted to uncovering the magic of Fes, one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities in the world. With your local guide, delve into the UNESCO-listed Fes el-Bali medina, a labyrinth of narrow alleys bustling with artisans, spice merchants, and centuries-old madrassas. Visit the Al-Qarawiyyin University—regarded as the world’s oldest university—as well as the colorful tanneries, Nejjarine Fountain, and the intricate Bou Inania Madrasa. Along the way, learn about traditional crafts and the city’s scholarly legacy. You’ll also visit Fes el-Jdid, home to the Royal Palace and Mellah (Jewish Quarter). After a full day, return to your riad and relax. Fes is a city best absorbed slowly—each corner offers something beautiful, from zellij tilework to hidden gardens.

Day 4: Fes – Ifrane – Midelt – Merzouga

Leave Fes after breakfast and begin your scenic drive south. Your first stop is Ifrane, nicknamed “Little Switzerland” for its alpine-style architecture and clean streets. Continue through cedar forests near Azrou, where you may spot wild Barbary macaques. As the landscape transitions into the rocky Middle Atlas, stop for lunch in Midelt, nestled between mountain ranges. From there, continue your journey through the dramatic Ziz Valley before arriving in Merzouga at the edge of the golden Sahara. Tonight, unwind in a charming riad with views of the dunes. Take in the stillness of the desert night under a blanket of stars—tomorrow, the adventure into the Sahara begins.

This day is all about the desert. Begin with a relaxed morning at your riad, then venture out to explore the region: visit the Gnawa musicians in Khamlia village, stop by the seasonal lake of Merzouga (if present), and explore local nomadic culture. In the afternoon, prepare for a highlight—your camel trek across the dunes of Erg Chebbi. As the sun sets, the sand glows in hues of gold and orange, offering perfect photo opportunities. Arrive at your luxury desert camp, where mint tea and Moroccan hospitality await. Enjoy a traditional dinner under the stars, followed by drumming around the campfire. Tonight, sleep in a private tent surrounded by the silence of the Sahara.

Depart for Rissani, once a vital caravan trading hub and the birthplace of Morocco’s Alaouite dynasty. Wander its lively souk before heading west toward the Todra Gorges—towering limestone canyons carved by the Todra River. Enjoy a short walk in the gorge or relax by the river before continuing to the Dades Valley, known for its dramatic rock formations and kasbahs. Settle into your riad overlooking the valley. The combination of mountain views and deep canyons creates a striking landscape—perfect for a restful evening.
