Tour Plan :

01
Day 1: Marrakech – High Atlas Mountains – Ait Ben Haddou – Skoura/Dades Valley

We will pick you up at your riad and set off to cross the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi-n-Tichka Pass – at 2260m (7417ft) it’s the highest pass in Morocco. Enjoy amazing views of this fascinating landscape and the Berber villages it contains, and see the Telouet Kasbah, one-time residence of the pasha of Marrakesh.

Continuing south we arrive at the Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, probably the most celebrated, filmed and photographed Kasbah in Morocco. Featured in numerous films (including Lawrence of Arabia, The Sheltering Sky and Gladiator), it is the best-preserved Kasbah in Morocco and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Continuing on to Ouarzazate, you will have the opportunity to explore the world-famous Atlas Film Studios and the Taourirt Kasbah.

Travelling along the Thousand Kasbah’s Road, we arrive at Dades Gorge where you will stay overnight in a wonderful property overlooking the valley.

Day 2: Dades Valley – Todra Gorges – Rissani – Merzouga – Desert

We take the road to Merzouga through the Todra Gorge, a narrow corridor with sheer cliffs 300m (985ft) high rising up dramatically each side. These are the most impressive cliffs in southern Morocco and they are well known to experienced mountaineers. In Todra Valley you will have a panoramic view of the surrounding area containing old mud kasbahs.

If time permits and you're inclined to explore by foot, an optional hike awaits you within the valley. Immerse yourself in the local culture and geography as you meet with friendly locals in their fields, offering an enriching experience of authentic Morocco.

Passing through villages like Tinjdad, Mallaab and Touroug we arrive in Merzouga in the late afternoon to be welcomed by your camel guide who will take you across the sand dunes to your luxurious desert camp. Immerse yourself in the magic of the desert at Erg Chebbi. Enjoy an unforgettable evening with dinner, campfire, and local music. Spend the night under canvas or beneath the stars, if weather permits. Your camp offers modern comforts like Western bathrooms and hot showers for your convenience.

Day 3: Merzouga – Erfoud – Ziz Valley – Ceder Forest -Ifrane – Fes

You will experience an unforgettable sunrise in the Sahara Desert, followed by a hearty breakfast and refreshing shower at your desert camp. You will enjoy witnessing the mesmerizing transformation of the sand's colors as daylight unfolds before embarking on your journey back to Merzouga.

En route to Fes, you will traverse the Middle Atlas Mountains via the scenic Talghoumt Pass, where nomadic shepherds tend to their flocks against a backdrop of breathtaking landscapes. You will have the opportunity to explore the majestic Cedar Forest, Morocco's largest, and encounter native Barbary apes amidst its lush greenery.

Continue your journey through Ifrane, often referred to as "Little Switzerland" for its striking resemblance to a Swiss alpine village. You will marvel at its picturesque charm before concluding our three-day desert adventure in the Imperial City of Fes.
