Departing from your accommodation, we travel south along the Tizi-n-Tichka Pass, winding through stunning mineral-rich landscapes, fertile valleys, and remote Berber villages. As we ascend the Tizi-n-Tichka Pass—the highest road pass in Morocco at 2,260m (7,417ft)—you’ll be treated to panoramic views of the majestic Atlas Mountains.

Our adventure continues as we arrive at Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the most celebrated and best-preserved Kasbah in Morocco. This ancient fortified village, with its imposing earthen clay architecture, has been the backdrop for countless Hollywood films, including Lawrence of Arabia, The Sheltering Sky,and Gladiator. Wander through its timeless alleys and soak in the atmosphere of a place where history and legend intertwine.

From here, we journey to Ouarzazate, the gateway to the Sahara and the historic capital of Morocco’s south. Once a stronghold of the French Foreign Legion, the city is now famous for its Atlas Film Studios, where legendary movies such as The Mummy, Star Wars, and Body of Lies were filmed. A tour of the studios offers a fascinating glimpse into Morocco’s role in global cinema.
